A new route has opened up linking the Mekong of Southern Laos with Northern Cambodia, travelling from Pakse start your adventure, on the Bolaven Plateau, its volcanic rock makes for great tea and coffee plantations. Sip Lao style coffee with the locals. Travel to the first Khmer temple Wat Phu before following the Mekong South to the natural wetlands of Si Pan Don. Journey through flooded forests; look out for the rare Irrawaddy Dolphins before arriving at the capital of Phnom Penh. The last stop on your journey is the amazing temples of Angkor in Siem Reap.
