Day 3 Kota Kinabalu - Kudat - Rungus Longhouse Stay (B/L/D)
Kudat is located at the Northern Tip of Borneo. Journey will take approximately 3 hours from Kota Kinabalu city, driving through scenic countryside, paddy fields, villages, oil palm plantation; local stalls selling handicraft and food items. Along the way, stop at Sumangkap Village, well known for its "Gong" making skill by its local artisan. Proceed to the Bavanggazo Village for a longhouse visit. Built entirely using local materials, it is home to the Rungus people community, a sub-tribe of the indigenous kadazandusun. Observe their very own unique bead works, lifestyle and costumes. Lunch will be served in rungus style. Afterwhich, continue your journey up to the Northern Tip of Borneo, Journey will take around one hour before you reach a hill; the Simpang Mengayau. Here, you will experience incomparable fascinating scenery of long stretch white sandy beach, it’s beautiful northern tip sea, the breeze of wind blow. The tip was blessed with wide publicity, expecially in Borneo, through popular mass media like the 2003 book entitled "KUDAT". Lastly, a short visit to the Kudat town (the first capital of British North Borneo Chartered Company) before heading down to the Longhouse for native dinner.

Day 4 Rungus Longhouse - Kota Kinabalu (B/L/D)
Breakfast provided at Rungus Longhouse. Thereafter, bid farewell and proceed to 'Gombizau Bee Farm'. Witness for yourself how the Rungus natives collect the honey in their own traditional way. Return to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon.

Day 5 Kota Kinabalu - Kipandi Butterfly - Mahua Waterfall- Keningau (B/PL/D)
The Kipandi Butterfly Park is located at the Kg. Kipandi, Moyog about 36km from Kota Kinabalu city via Penampang-Tambunan road and can be easily reach from Kota Kinabalu. The Park surrounded by the hills of the Crocker Range and lies at 700m altitude and rich in entomofauna. It’s a great place to photography these beautiful butterflies, native orchids, exotic flowering plants and the amazing insects collection especially the butterflies and beetles. The Crocker Range is among the best insects diversity in Sabah. Many rare and endemic species of butterflies and beetles which only can found in this range, especially the family of stag beetles(Lucanidae) like Cyclommatus chewi, Odontolabis katsurai and Odontolabis schenki among the rare and localized species it known only from the mountain forests surrounding Crocker Range and endemic of Sabah. Over 100 species of butterflies have been recorded in the park area and many butterflies come into the garden to suck nectar from many flowering shrubs, including the most rare and endemic mountains species butterflies family of Papilionidae especially Graphium procles, Graphium stratiotes and Troides andromache (Borneo Birdwing). Onwards drive through small villages and forests on the Crocker Range to reach to Mahua Waterfall which is a pristine natural fall that nestled deep in the tropical forest of the Crocker Mountain Range. This spectacular waterfall is approximately 17 metres tall and has a pool depth of 1.3 metres. Arrive at and take an easy 15 mins walk along the river to reach the waterfall. Take a 15 mins walk to reach the waterfall. You will be delighted by the sight of endless towering Seraya trees with huge trunks, giant bamboo trees and birds-nest ferns while endlessly entertained by the chorus of insects and forests birds. (dont forget to bring your swimming entire). Packed lunch will be served. Continue to Keningau en route visit to Tambunan Rafflesia Centre and jungle trek to find blooming Rafflesia (subject to season).

Day 6 Keningau- Lagud Seberang Tenom (B/L/D)
Depart Keningau (estimated 1hr) to Tenom Town formerly called Fort Birch in the colonial period. The journey will pass through the countryside offering views of paddy fields and villages to Lagud Seberang Tenom. With its affinity to nature, the park is set against a background of truly natural landscape with lush greenery of the Crocker Range (the longest range in the country) which creates a picture of a beautiful natural park all around. This park is knowledge oriented and recreational. The park also provides an ideal environment for nature-based activities that makes this park a worthy holiday destination. This is an excellent base to expand your knowledge on the taxonomy of plants that fits your taste and needs as well as the perfect escape from urban noise and pollution.You can explore many stretches of well laid trails, elaborate display of gardens with great landscaping work, magnificent collection of plants/ flowers, stunning insects and wild birds that will fascinate you to your heart’s content. Day 7 Tenom - Padas River - Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Padas River is situated in the interior of southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train (used since the late 19th century in Borneo). Padas is classified as Class III-IV River. Upon arrival at Tenom Town train station, depart by train for 30 minutes to the starting point of Pangie, the train ride will traverse the Padas Gorge offering views of the villages of the Murut tribes and the Padas River. Arrive at Tenom Town train station, lunch will be served in a local restaurant. You can choose to visit local stalls or have a cup of Tenom coffee. After lunch, get change and leave your belongings in the coach. Thereafter, depart by train for 30 minutes to the starting point of Pangie, the train ride will traverse the Padas Gorge offering views of the villages of the Murut tribes and the Padas River. On arrival, light refreshment will be served. A briefing on the river, the various rapids, and safety procedures will be conducted by the River Guide. After the briefing, all rafters will put on their rafting gears - lifejackets & helmets and collect your paddles. Enjoy the exhilarating ride down the rapids and get to know the various rapids like Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Papid, Head Hunter Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Curve Rapid, Cobra Rapid and Lambada Rapid. Each rapid will give you the feel of the motion as what the name means. The Padas Whitewater Rafting will cover 21km with 09 major rapids and a stop-over for a rest and light refreshment before continuing rafting journey with spectacular rainforest of Borneo to pull out point. The thrilling yet scenic ride will take around 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Arrive at the ending point - Halogilat Village. Change to dry clothing before boarding the coach back to hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
