Day 1 Hanoi
Upon your arrival in Hanoi, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel at the city centre. In the afternoon explore a little of downtown or enjoy a traditional music performance, and a good, light-hearted introduction to the country’s culture.
Day 2 Hanoi
A city tour of colonial Hanoi. The Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and the Temple of Literature, in the afternoon take a cyclo ride through the old town and visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem. In front of this lake is the famous Water Puppet Theatre where you'll see a fantastic performance
Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay
Travel to Vietnam’s number one destination - Halong bay. Transfer out to the internationally famous and stunningly beautiful Halong Bay from a two day cruise.
Day 4 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Luang Prabang
Continue your cruise through the bay after lunch return to Hanoi and fly to the colonial world heritage site of Luang Prabang
Day 5 Luang Prabang
Explore Luang Prabang on foot, take in the royal temples and the delightful architecture in this UNESCO World Heritage Town
Day 6 Luang Prabang
Half Day trip to Kuang Si Waterfall
Day 7 Luang Prabang
Half day Cooking Class with famous Tam Nak Lao Restaurant in Luang Prabang. Starts at 10:00am for outdoor market tour for about 1 hour then you will have demonstration and cooking of two dishes for lunch Luang Prabang Salad and Feu Khua (sticky rice noodle with chicken and vegetables).
Day 8 Luang Prabang - Siem Reap
Take the flight to Siem Reap spend the afternoon visiting Angkor Wat - The crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, Angkor Wat is the national symbol and the highlight of any visit to Cambodia
Day 9 Siem Reap
Angkor Thom - The fortified city of Angkor Thom covers an area of 10 square km. Visit Ta Prohm - (Jungle Temple). Finally, visit Phnom Bakheng - a hill that provides one of the best views of Angkor Wat.
Day 10 Siem Reap
Visit Banteay Srei Temple - Seemingly Miniature In Comparison To The Other Angkor Temples, Banteay Srei is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. Built in pink sandstone, the walls are covered in exquisitely preserved carvings of unusual delicacy. Because of its small size, fairy-like atmosphere and extraordinary examples of Khmer sculpture, this temple is often a favourite with visitors. Embark on an excursion to the Tonle Sap Lake (Great Lake) with boat trip. Located in the heart of Cambodia, this extraordinary lake swells up to seven times its original size during the monsoon season. Its ecosystem is one of the richest and most diverse in the region. This boat trip will explore the floating fishing villages that live at the edges of the lake, passing submerged forests and fishing farms.
Day 11 Siem Reap
Visit the Chantiers Ecoles (Artisans d'Angkor) - Les Chantiers Ecoles: vocational centre trains 650 apprentices a year including 160 in fine arts and crafts trades. Guided tours through the different workshops such as stone sculpture, woodcarving, polychromie, and watch the artisan at work. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure in Siem Reap.
Day 12 Siem Reap - Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight
