Day 1 Yangon
On Arrival in Yangon spend the evening to relax.
Day 2 Yangon
Spend the day on a city tour of Yangon, sights include the Shwedagon pagoda, the royal lake and gardens and the Chaukthatgyi pagoda with its colossal reclining Buddha.
Day 4 Yangon - Bagan
Fly to Bagan, take a boat trip by river to see some of its famous temples and stupas, including Shwezigon stupa, Gubyaukkyi temple and the massive Dhammayangyi temple.
Day 5 Bagan
Take a spectacular hot air balloon ride to catch sunrise over the temples of Bagan, the trip lasts about an hour in the afternoon discover Bagan at your leisure
Day 6 Bagan - Mandalay (Road to Mandalay Cruise)
Cruise north towards Mandalay. Relax on the top deck and watch the fascinating river life glide by
Day 7 Mandalay (Road to Mandalay Cruise)
Arrive at the village of Shwe Kyet Yet after lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the key sights of Mandalay regarded as the centre of Burmese culture and Buddhist learning. Return to Road To Mandalay stopping enroute to admire sunset over the river.
Day 8 Mandalay
After breakfast, cruise to Mingun to visit the most important sights such as the pretty Hsinbyume Pagoda and the world's largest uncracked bell. Return by ferry for a late lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Sagaing Hills, considered to be the living centre of the Buddhist faith in Burma. Sagaing is also famous for its silver and silversmiths who still work in much the same way as their ancestors did.
Day 9 Mandalay - Nyaungshwe (Inle Lake)
Fly to Heho, before driving to Pindaya with a visit to Pindaya Cave before driving across the Shan Plateau to Nyaungshwe on the edge of the Inle Lake where you will spend the night.
Day 10 Inle Lake
A boat trip sightseeing on Inle Lake sightseeing, visit the floating market and Phandawoo Pagoda, with a famous Inle weaving workshop and NgaphalChaung monastery lunch on the river
Day 11 Inle Lake - Yangon
Morning free at leisure before your flight to Yangon
Day 12 Yangon
Free time before depart Myanmar for your onward flight
